Honestly For You 13

Blue eyes appeared as his eyelids pushed open.  Tiny pupils adjusted to the slatted light coming through the shades and he blinked a few times.  Fingers immediately scratched at the edge of his eyes to remove the lingering effects of the deep sleep he'd been in.  Automatically his hands curled around his face, rubbing at his cheeks, then scratching at the stubble of his chin.  His head tipped to the side a little before he moved his fingers to scratch the side of his neck.  He took a deep breath and held it before stretching his legs and arms and letting a breath out.  His eyelids fluttered open and closed as the pure joy of stretching comsumed his whole body with a satisfying warmth.

"Owe," he heard a muffled whine come from next to him.

He rolled from his back over onto his side and moved his left arm to curl under his head, adding to the height of his already fluffy pillow so that he could watch her while she slept.  She lay on her stomach, facing the other way with her arms clutching the other pillow on the bed to her face.  He didn't remember her braiding her hair, but the long tresses were now braided into a single braid that ran down her spine and disappeared into the edge of her tanktop that she'd slept in.

"Sorry Mere."  He leaned a little and kissed her shoulder blade, lips opening a little so that he left a small moist spot on her skin and blew across it a little to tickle her.  When she moved away from him he could tell that she wasn't ready to get up so he moved the covers over her shoulders to tuck her in.  He tried not to touch her skin with his hands as he settled her in.  He knew she was wearing pajamas, they'd been so tired that night that they'd forgotten any thoughts of even attempting to make love to each other and he didn't want to think that all he'd brought her home for was for the sex.  Sleep and relaxation were the focus of that weekend.  "Go back to sleep."

"Hmmm," she replied then turned her face towards him.  She pursed her lips then he watched her tongue trace her lips before they curled into a tired smile.

Justin reached to scratch his lower stomach and accidentally bumped into himself.  His eyes opened wide and smiled.  He hadn't noticed that just watching her like that had turned him on, but he was now at full attention straining against the front of the  boxers that he'd slept in the night before.

A yawn escaped his lips as he began to move away from her body.  Waking her up at this point would have been uncomfortable for the both of them so he figured that he'd slip out to the bathroom and take care of his problem.  He wanted the weekend to be perfect and starting out with an argument about morning wood wasn't the tone he wanted to set for their time together.

"BeeDee?" she mumbled as her arm reached out towards him.

"Stay put Bear," he whispered and leaned to kiss her again, "I'll be back in a minute."

"Hmmkay," she said and rubbed her nose.

Justin's feet shuffled across the carpet to the bathroom and he closed the door behind him, turning on the light and the fan after he was inside.  It was good to be home and be able to at least pee in peace.  He'd gotten a little paranoid over the last few months about privacy issues like that.  He always expected someone to be outside the door waiting for him or being bold enough to actually sneak in the room with him.

After a few moments alone in the bathroom he slid back out into the bedroom, made a quiet path to the bed and pulled back the covers.  Meredith hadn't moved so he slid back to where he had been lying on his side and moved his arm to prop the pillow up again so that he could watch her.

"BeeDee?" she asked, "What time is it?"

Justin looked passed her over her shoulder to the clock and saw that it was still early.  "Not time to wake up."

Her eyes went wide.  "That's not an answer--BeeDee we have to--"

"Shhh," he whispered to her as he leaned and kissed her shoulder again.  "Bear go back to bed.  We're on vacation."

"We are?" she asked and opened her eyes to look over at him.  Her eyes looked like a child's up at him as if she had just learned that she had won a trip to Disney World.

"Yeah Bear," he said and smiled at her.

She probably had slept just as hard as he had.  Often times when they'd gotten home from a long road trip they slid into deep-coma like sleep making up for the nights on end that they'd only gotten three or four hours of sleep a night.  He could see her mind working.  She was trying to make sure that she didn't wake herself up if this was a dream for her or not.

"We're home?" she asked timidly.

"Yep," he said with a nod.

"Yay."  Her tired sense of joy was evident as she closed her eyes again.  "I never want to leave.  I love my pillow too much."

"No love for me?" he asked.

"Yes love for you," she said and let go of her pillow.  She scooted closer to him and kissed his chin then tucked herself against his chest tucking one arm across her own chest while the other one moved towards his hip and pulled him closer.  "Lots of love for you."

"Hmmm."  He groaned as her body pressed up against him.

"Make love to me," she said.

"That's what I want for my birthday," she said tiredly.  "All I want to do for my birthday is be in this town, in this house, this bed, and have lots of sex."  She laughed and her lips found his chest and she kissed him there a few times, in between kisses rubbing her lips against the smooth skin teasing him.

If it weren't bad enough that she was kissing him and leaned up against him, she was now moving against him, brests pressing against her shirt so that he could feel her tightened nipples through the material.  Her leg seemed to find it's way between his and she scooted so that their hips met, bringing her fully against his returning erection.

"Bear," he said, voice coming out in a husky tone.  "Baby don't do that."

"What?" she said and moved her hips against him.  "This?"

His breath caught in his throat and he moved so that he could see her face.  "Yes.  That."

"I missed this," she said and moved a little back from where she'd been pressing against him.

"Missed what?" he asked.

"Being in bed with you and not having anywhere to go or anything to do."

"I'm sorry that I haven't gotten you in bed more often."

He moved to kiss her, but she stopped him.

"Oh really?" she joked unexpectedly.  He expected her to be upset with him for joking like that or make some other comment, but the joke eased the tension.

"That's part of my present--"  He kissed her.  "I gave Melinda my phone and pager and we're not answering the door or the phone the while time we're here.  Everyone is going to meet at Johnny's tomorrow night at seven, but other than that we're here with nothing to do and no one to bother us."

"What?" she said.

"It's just you and me," he said, "As naked as we wanna be."

"Yes," he said, "Really.  I have no plans of leaving his bed any time soon, but if you think of something to do and want to leave and do it then you can."

"Good."  She moved away from him and pulled the tanktop over her head with one moment.  "I figure that we should both be wearing the same amount of clothing today."

Skin to skin contact was Justin's breaking point.  He held his breath as she snuggled closer to him then finally unwrapped his arms from around her and framed her face with his hands.  He moved so that he could kiss her then looked in her eyes.  It should have been a happy moment for them, but he realised that he hadn't seen her that happy in a long time.  It worried him extremely that after all that they'd gone through, all her successes that this was the moment that he'd seen that kind of happiness in her eyes.

"What?" she asked.

"Nothing."  He thought quickly and leaned to kiss her.  "Nothing at all.  I'm just glad that you're happy."

Justin lifted the slice of green apple to his lips and smiled at her as he chewed.  He held three more slices in his hand and lifted another one to his mouth before asking.  "What are you making?"

"Grilled cheese," she said looking up as she turned the front burner on.  Did it matter that there was bread and cheese out on the counter?  She guessed he was preoccupied or something since it was clear what she was making.  She moved across to slice one more piece of cheddar off for a sandwich then moved back over and held her hand over the pan.

He took another piece of apple.  "Be careful."

She felt her palm get a little warm, but was careful not to touch her hand to the pan.  "I have to see if its hot or not."

Justin wiggled his eyebrows.  "There are so many better things that you could be finding out if they were hot or not."

"I already found if you were hot or not," she said with a laugh leaning to kiss him.  He slid an arm around her and pulled her close.  "You taste like apple," she said.

"Want a piece?" he asked.

He held out a piece and she took it into her mouth, touching his fingers with her lips as she took the piece from him.

"Nice," he said with a laugh.

"I never knew that eating could be so erotic," she said.

Justin laughed.  "I think you have a knack for this stuff."

"Do we have any pickles?" she asked.

"Is there something you need to tell me?"  He leaned back and looked at her with a half frown.  "I know that you and I have had a whole bunch of sex lately, but last time I checked we were being careful."

"No silly.  Don't even joke about the pregant jokes.  I wanted to know if we have pickles because I always have pickles with my grilled cheese.  You should know these things."

"Oh."  He backed away a little and walked by her, but not before slapping at her ass.

Her hand went and rubbed the stingy spot that had only been protected from his hand with a thin layer of long t-shirt.  "What was that for?"

"Read your shirt, or rather my shirt," he said with a smile as he pulled the refridgerator open.  He shoved another piece of apple in his mouth and ducked his head in to look inside.

Her eyes went down to the black logo across her chest.  "Good Rear?"

He laughed.  "You didn't see that when you grabbed it did you?"

"No.  You were bugging me about food and threatened to make me be down here naked.  I'm all about being naked in bed, but walking around like that just isn't me.  I just grabbed whatever my hand caught in the closet." she said.  "Where did you get this?"

Justin shrugged and brought out a jar of bread and butter pickles.  He opened it up and smelled the contents.  "I found it in the dressing room in LA a few months ago.  Suzy must have thrown it in the pile.  She's the one that gets us all those saying shirts."

"Like the Head Foundation one that Steve had that one time?" she asked and reached over and took a pickle from the jar.  She put the slice in her mouth and chewed.  "That whole donate often thing was nasty."

"Giving head isn't nasty," he said.

"You've never given head so you wouldn't know," she said.  She took the jar and set it on the counter next to her then put the cheese slices onto the bread she'd already put out to use.

Justin grabbed a pickle out of the jar and leaned against the counter next to her.  "All I know is that I'd do anything you wanted me to if you did that to me."

She stopped what she was doing and turned back to look at him.  "What?"

Justin licked his fingers then grabbed another pickle slice.  "That's the freaking best thing in the world."

"Are you kidding me?" she asked.

"No," he said.

"I'm not big on that kind of stuff.  Why didn't you tell me that--"

"I know you're not big on it," he said, "That's why I don't ask you to do it.  I figure the person giving and getting should be having the same amount of fun so it'd be dumb to force you to do it."  He smiled, "But if you want to make up for lost time I'm always one who is willing to try new things."

"Keep your boxers on," she said with a smile and leaned and kissed him.  "I never said I'd change my mind about my opinion, but at least I know a little about how to make you be under my spell.   Just open up my mouth and--"

"Don't," he said, "Don't even start to tease me like that."

She leaned back and started to make the sandwiches again.  "Is that really something you like though?" she asked.

"Yeah," he said, "I mean not that it's something that happens every day, but I remember it being a very enjoyable experience."

Meredith kept her eyes on the sandwiches that she'd made while he stood there.  "Why didn't you tell me that you liked that?"

"No reason," he said, "I just knew that you didn't like it."

"Still you should have told me."

"Do you want more pickles?" he asked.

Meredith grabbed another one and watched him.  "I love the way you can change the subject so easily."

"What do you want me to say Meredith?" he asked, "I wasn't keeping it from you.  I knew your opinion on the subject and I wasn't going to bring up something to pressure you to do something I know you don't want to do.  I'm not like that."

Her eyes had a hard time not rolling, but she kept them straight.  Justin might not know about pressuring her when it came to sex, but there were other ways that he pressured her without even saying anything or doing anything.  "Oh."

"Yeah," he said, "Oh."  He pushed away from the counter.  "I'm gonna go get clothes on.  Do you want shorts?"

"Justin wait," she said.

"What's wrong?" she asked.  "We went all morning being cool and now we're back to this whole fighting thing."

Justin sighed and moved against the counter again.  "Farzana and I were talking the other night and she said some stuff and I just was thinking that maybe she's right."

"Right about what?"

"Are you happy?" he asked.

"Of course I'm happy," she said.  She didn't know exactly where his question was directed, but this was her birthday weekend and she didn't want to ruin things.  She wanted at least one weekend where they could just be themselves and be together.

"Are you sure?" he asked.

She moved over and hugged him.  "I'm happy Justin.  You just gave me the best birthday present in the world and we're going to have a great rest of the weekend."

"You'd tell me if you weren't happy wouldn't you?" he asked.

She nodded and kissed him.  "Definitely."

"Bear I'm being serious.  I know that you're not thrilled with touring."

"Justin I just want to spend time with you.  That's why I hate touring, but you're with me now so it doesn't matter."  She sighed.

When he smiled she took her breaths a little easier.  He seemed to believe her answer.  It hurt to lie to him like that, but there were too many people involved with her career for her to suddenly decide that she'd rather stay home than work.
