So you wanna know some weird stuff?

Well I did. :)  I asked around to other fanfic authors on livejournal.com and had them answer a few questionsjust for fun.  It's nothing major, it just kind of shows you a little extra side of them.

If you'd like your answers to be on here as well - just copy and paste the questions from here and email them to me :)

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: "jumper" - eh. i think thats the one that doesnt require some knowledge of nsync... and since they wouldnt want to read a nsync story, that'd be it. plus - i think it shows my talent in a small enough dose.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: its probably the middle of the night - or really late anyway. ive got a drink (diet coke, tea or juice) and my left foot is tucked up under my right thigh... the tv is on but im not really watching it - chances are ive got my pajamas on. the lights are all off so the only light is my nightlight in the kitchen and the glow of my screen. and im ready to go!

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: "i find myself" :) without a doubt.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: nope. too much pressure. around here i can write at my own pace and if i dont finish a story my life doesnt depend on it. i wont NOT get a paycheck if i dont put out a new story every couple months. also, this is a hobby for me, its relaxing. if i suddenly had deadlines to meet and chapters expected on certain dates - id be miseable.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: eek. i dont know. id be paranoid probably that they KNEW it was me and was playing with my head. im weird like that. id probably tell them it was me though - i mean... if they read it and sent me a feedback on it - they probably wouldnt laugh at me for writing nsync fics. LOL

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: "take my breath away" - beth :) hands down. chris AND joey? sheesh... who could say no??

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: i feel like a knob because i cant remember the girls name... but the lead girl (kinda) in willows "midnight confesions" - she seems cool and i'd love to be in the middle of all of that :)

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: dayna. she'd be a cool friend i think - and she'd crack me up with her stories from the road.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: sure, i'd mention it. probably. im a glutton for punnishment. id probably talk about fanfic and see their reaction first before i fessed up to writing it. :) but yeah - if they weren't wigged out by the idea of fanfic, i'd slap them with my link - why not?

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: I guess I'd want to be Alex from Hanging by a Moment because in the story, she's accomplished all the things I want to accomplish. Plus she gets Justin, and that's cool :)

You're sitting down to write; describe your setting/surroundings: School: dorm desk, with pictures of celebs hanging around the area. In a regulation school chair, with the TV to my left. Usually I put an away message on AIM, but not always. Home: In my room, sometimes on my bed. Both places, the TV is on, but I'm not paying attention.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: My two bigger Justin ones, HBAM and Wasting My Time, have the main character based on me at certain points in my life.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Possibly. Deadlines are okay. I like to set them for myself. Plus, I wouldn't have school/work etc interfering. I am a mass comm/journalism major, so I already live by deadlines ;)

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: Depends on who it is. And if I know how they'd take it.

A genie shows up one morning; he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: I'd want to be Alex from HBAM because like I already said she's acomplished a lot, is seeing Justin, and met Ben Affleck and Matt Damon :)

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Carly in FictionLyn's "If She Only Knew" because I relate to Carly a lot. And she went through a lot to come out on top.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Sam from "The Rock Star" because she doesn't worry too much about opinions and would be fun to jam with.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP; whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: Again, it depends. Like you said, I'd feel them out. Probably not. I'd chicken out.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:
Well. They've already all read What You've Got because I accidently left it around, but if I had to choose I'd probably say Undergoing because I'm pretty sure it contains the least amount of actual slash.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings:
I'm at my computer, the apartment is silent, the air conditioner is most likely on. I'm wearing my comfy pants and I've got a water bottle.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?:
Probably Superman.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:
Absolutely. I think I would have a kick ass time.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?:
Depends on who it is. If I think they'd rather not know who it is, I'm not gonna say anything, but other than that, hell yeah. That'd be pretty funny.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?:
Mmmm.... All the Heart Can Know and I'd be JUSTIN because I've always wanted a dragon and a Joey of my very own.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:
Miss Kitty's More Than the Eye Can See and I'd want to be L*nce so I can have a winged Joey of my very own.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?:
I don't think I've got any original characters in any of my stories. Next question!

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
Oh hell no. Unless, of course, Joey and L*nce are madly in love and banging in real life, because otherwise I'd just as soon they not ever know that I really think they'd be hot together. Or Joey and JC, or Joey and Chris, or Joey and Justin. You know how it goes.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:Probably "Here with Me" and basically because although I've written a couple things its probably the one I'm the most proud of.
You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: My living room couch, one leg tucked under the other, candles lit, light only on in the small kitchen, some type of beverage (wine, Strawberry Daquari, or diet Coke) and one of my "fanfic" cd's playing for inspiration.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: Oh clearly its "Falling" the one I just finished....most of the main character (Jess) was based on my real life experiences.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:
Heck No...I'm not confident enough in my work and its really just for fun and I do it when i want to...no commitments (except the occasional email from someone who is reading my work)

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: I don't know what to say...if it was someone I know...I'd be shocked but yeah, I'd fess up to it...I usually only send stuff out to people I know though so that would be tough.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Oh this is a no brainer...it would be Jayne in "All or Nothing"....why??? heck, she's got Chris and is playing the flute with the Boston Pops...and for the other things that happen to her :-)

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Okay, this was tougher...can I pick two?? Either Grace in Patchwork Chris (your story Amy) or Jayne in my friend Elley's series (starts with Good Things will come)....okay, so three, the third would be Jennifer (funny how the name is the same huh?) in Perfect....

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: hmmmm...that's rough because most of the characters I use in my stories are loosly based on someone I know so I'd probably say Chelsea, Ryanne and Taylor in "Falling" because they are just awesome.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
Hmmmm...maybe...I had a dream once that I told Chris all about it and he read them...scary stuff

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: "Beautiful". It's probably the most well-written.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: It's so late it's early. I'm in makeshift pajamas on my bed with several notebooks lying around, all for different stories. The purple light in my room shines only on me and what I'm writing, and after completing a new scene, I do a short story or two and fall asleep.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: Besides the one that actually IS autobiographical, and has nothing to do with *NSYNC, I'd say 'Beautiful' in a metaphoric way.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: I don't really know how that works 100%, but if there's a lot of pressure, I might not want to. I DO want a novel published though, but maybe just one. I'll experiment.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: It would be really hard for them to not realize it's me, because there's not that many other Cheyennes running around. I'd probably be amused that they didn't know, or think they were just playing dumb. In which case I'd stay anonymous.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Hmm. I'd be Justin in any of my slash fics, lol. Just so I could have JC.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Wow. Good question. I honestly haven't seen any characters whose life I'd love to lead.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Jordan. He's a cool guy, and a good friend, which is what I need right now.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: LOL. No!

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: 'The Love Of A Fan'....it's the only one I've written where you really don't need to know all about Nsync to understand and it there aren't any sex scenes in it so it's all good:o)

You're sitting down to write; describe your setting/surroundings: Sitting at my computer desk...away message up on AIM...and some music playing. The type of music depends on what type of story/chapter I am writing.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: 'It's All In The Past'....my lead girl Mia's life is actually based on one of my good friends lifes...thats about as close as I get.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Hell NO! Writing is my escape from reality...it calms me and if I HAD to have something written by a certain time it would drive me crazy. Plus I would have to write under a pen name because I dont like people I know to read what I have written and that would suck cause even if I had a pen name my family and shit would still know.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: That would all depend on who it is and if the feedback was good or bad.

A genie shows up one morning; he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: I would love to be Nicole in 'Friends For Life' but she doesn't have a very happy ending so I guess Christine in 'The Babysitter'...it's only a visual but whatever.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Either Jessica in 'The Last Song' series or Lauren in FictionLyn's 'It's Only Me'...Jc or Justin, can't go wrong there:o)

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Manada from 'Friends For Life'....I would love to party with her and just have her as a friend.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP; whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: Okay I honestly don't know if I would have the balls to straight out say it to them but this year at CFTC I gave Jc this thingy with like messages to all the guys on it and at the bottom I had written the link to my page.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say: Hi my name is Megan and I want to hug...no kiss...no ravish...no molest...no No NO RAPE Justin Randall Timberlake. :o)

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: "Just One." It's just beginning but I think it's definately shaping up to be my best work yet.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: Me and my computer with a bottle of Minute Maid Pink Lemonade. Lights are off, music is playing. Comfy pj's are on, notes are on the deskk and I'm all set.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: Hmmm, I guess you could Christmas Melodies. The friendship of the four girls were all modeled after a friendship I have with four of my favorite friends.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Nope. I don't have the patience & I get bored with story idea's WAY to easily as it is. To finish a whole entire novel....no way!

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: Hmm, Yeah. If they READ NSync fiction then I guess I can fess up to writing it.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: "Just One." Caydence. She's strong and independent. Plus, she owns an awesome club in Orlando so heck yea!

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Laurn Owsley in Saga Two by FictionLyn. Horrible things happen to the poor girl which is definately scary but the friendship she has with Justin...definatley something that is desirable.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Bayleigh from "Do You Promise?" She's sweet and never afraid to be who she is.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: HAHA! No way, too freaken chicken to do something like that. Too afraid that I'd weird them out.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: I think either "Time To Go" or "2021". Both are short, innocuous, and I'm fairly pleased with how they turned out. "2021" is also quite light, which is a good introduction to things. Yeah, I think that one, "2021".

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: Wherever the mood struck me. Ideally, at home, at my main computer, a glass of iced tea or koolaid within reach, and the music low or off (unless it's a song that inspired the fic, then I put it on repeat).

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: Hm... well, my hets are primarily Mary Sues (though I'm trying to get away from that now), but I don't know that I'd really call any of them autobiographical. It's my fantasy world, so I keep it different. I guess maybe "Time's Fickle Glass".

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: No. My writing periods are too few and far between. When I'm stuck, I'm STUCK. And yes, I know every writer goes through that, but even when I'm not stuck, I'm slow.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: Yes. Depending on the exact story, what their feedback said, etc. But most likely yes.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: I think "The More Things Change", and I'd be Deb, because she was originally me, before I went through and changed all the names in the story. LMAO Either that or myself in "One Last Fling", that was a fun one.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Oh wow. Too many to choose from. Annie in Ms. Storyteller's "My Little Mary"? Or... hmm... I read mostly slash now, so it's so hard to say.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: I only have one original character. No wait, two. Okay, more if you want to get picky, but only 2 main ones. And one's a "bad guy". So I refrain from answering. ;)

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: No, I don't think I would tell them. It'd be too weird. And legally, the actors in shows can't know about fanfic. Yes they know it exists, but as long as they can turn a blind eye to it, they do. If it's shoved into their view, they have to take legal action against it. I've heard of Cease & Desist orders being handed out when an author decides she wants to share one of her works with the actor who portrays the character it's about.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: My sister reads all of mine anyway. If I had to let my mom read one, it would be "The Stained Cliff" which I'm currently kind of writing. (it's not posted on my site yet) My mom is helping me out with a few idea's, and maybe she'd read it. My dad, I'm not sure if I'd let him read any of them. Maybe the screenplay I'm writing that's not about Nsync? That he's sort of helping me with also. lol

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: Usually, I'm laying down in bed (on the futon), wearing my night clothes (bra and panties), and writing in a notebook. If I have writers block, I sometimes get in my closet with a lamp and a notebook. It helps block out everything else going on in the house. I usually get alot written too.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: Best Friends. Probably because the character in the story is me. I guess. I don't write on this story as often as I should. But the character of "Whitney" is me. The way she acts anyhow. I don't go to boarding school or anything, but yeah.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Maybe. I actually want to be a journalist. And I could probably be a novelist, but *shrug* I don't really know. Maybe one day I'll write a novel. I'd rather write screenplays.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: hrm. I don't really know what I'd do. I'd probably laugh my ass off, then send them a nice little reply. But I doubt if I would tell them it was me.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Bailey in What Friendship Is All about and I Need You Now and the third story in the trilogy (that isn't written yet). I'd like to be her because she has such a great relationship with Lance. She was Lance's first friend when Lance moved to Clinton. And when she went off and got married to someone else. I'd just like to be her.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: darnit, you're making me think. Um, Chris in "Best Man" by Dayse. over at http://www.illuminations.nu/mojoe/ Just because.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Madison from "The Stained Cliff" which, as I said above, isn't posted on my site yet. She's just a really strong person, and I could use a friend like that sometimes. :)

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: I'd ask them if they read fanfiction, and what they thought about it. Then maybe I'd give them the link.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: I would probably let them read Once Upon A Dream. I mean this story is my heart and soul. It took a lot out of me to write. I think it's one of my best works.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: On my big queen size mattress, my sea bluegreen painted walls, candlelight, laptop on the bed and me in my pjs (more of late it's been my PUPPIES CHASEZ jersey and my Old Navy lobster pj pants), and my glasses, and of course music in the background

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: I'd say Once Upon A Dream or The One I Gave My Heart To- Both are very closely related to me.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Yeah, as funny as it sounds I do. I love to write, but it just isn't that. I can't seem to stop writing. It's more of a release than a chore. If I could be paid to do it, it would be like someone would pay me to have fun and do what I need to do anyway. *shrug*

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: I'd probably fess up. I'm not ashamed of what I do. I work hard at everything I do, especially my writing. But realistically-- If it was good I'd probably admit it and out myself, but if it were bad... er. I dunno. Hehe.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Oh lord... for the lasting relationship... Definitely Cait from Once Upon A Dream BUUUUT for the ultimate fling... hehe Aliana from Thursday Nights ...Ooooh.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:
Uhm... I think I'd be Miranda Hill from FictionLyn's story "Sometimes I Wish". She gets JC and fruit cups... what more do you want?

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: I'd like to have Lexi from Once Upon A Dream in my life. I always wanted an older sis.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: Erhm, no. I am proud of what I do and what I write. I just think it would be odd to say, "Hey you guys are kewl. But you know I have fantasies about you guys and put you in the scenarios and move you around like my little pawns?" . No.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:

"If you believe." (Which isn't even finished yet.) My mom's a nurse, and she helped me on some of the medical terms, so I'm sure she'd like to know what what I did with the answers.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings:

N'sync's Celebrity Album playing in the background, TV off, drinking Vanillia coke. :)

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?:

Umm..maybe my "Whenever you call" story. A couple years ago, my boyfriend (at the time) slept around on me, and Melissa (the girl in the story) her fiancee slept with her best friend.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:

Yes, on short stories. I'm really good with coming up with a story, and getting all the stuff down as long as it's short story. :)

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?:

I play along for awhile. Ask them what they thought about some stuff in my stories, then when they get into it, I say who I really am.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?:

Umm..let's see, I could be the attractive girl who gets stalked, the sarcastic girl who gets cheated on, or the girl who loses her baby..um..I don't think I want to be any of the girls in my story. *lol*

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:

I'd be Hollie Pollie from Ang's Ever after stories. She gets umm...nevermind. lol

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?:

Alyssa from my story "Angel on my shoulder" She's 'real' I like writing her.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:

I'd be embarrassed by it at first, then ask them if they read the stuff, then if they did, say I had some, but aren't really good. That way I'd sucker them into reading it. :)

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:
My dad and my brothers would never "waste their time" reading something I've written about anything other than cars.  Seriously.  My mom is cool and has read some of my stuff.  I can't think of anything that I wouldn't let her read.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings:
It really depends on when the inspiration strikes.  Usually I'm sitting at the computer, table lamp on, sandalwood candle burning, pack of cigarettes and bottle of soda nearby.   Sometimes I end up doing my writing longhand, though, because I'm at work and my muse suddenly shows up and starts forcing me to write.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?:
All of my stories have portions that are based on my real life, but none of them are very autobiographical - they're more like the lives I wished I lead or something like that.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:
I would love to think that I could be, but I highly doubt it.  I have too much trouble coming up with plot lines and seeing stories through to completion.  And my muse only visits me sporadically.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?:
I'd fess up.  It's not like it's some horrible crime to write stories about people you don't know.  I've actually had it as an assignment in more than one writing class.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?:
Oh wow.  Well, since most of my lead characters are "me."  I could go with just about any story I've ever attempted to write.  LOL.  I guess I wouldn't want to be "Kristy" in "The Cliffs" simply because of all the tragedy that befell her at an early age.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:
"Jessica" in "Alone Together" [or the entire trilogy] - because she's smart, strong AND gets JC.   [And no, that is not meant just as a suck up to you, Amy.  I love her character.]

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?:
This is kind of hard to answer for me because all of my "original characters" are based on my real-life friends.  So, in a way, they all are in my life already.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
I don't think I would.  If I was directly asked, I wouldn't deny it, but it's not something I'm just gonna throw out there at them.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:
Probably "How Am I Supposed To Live Without You" for a few reasons.  #1, it features JC, but I think it's something a lot of people can relate to; # 2, it doesn't have a whole lot to do with *NSYNC - it could really be anybody in the main character (which is so the same thing as I wrote for #1, but whatever); and #3, it's short so they wouldn't have to suffer for very long.  :-)  They just don't understand.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings:
It really just depends on when I get the motivation to write.  Sometimes I'm at my desk in my room with the tv on, sometimes I'm laying in bed at night writing in a spiral notebook just before I go to sleep, and other times I'm in the middle of some boring lecture class when I should be taking notes :)  Gotta love college.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?:
Probably the first one I wrote, "Good For You."  I originally started writing it just for myself, not to put it on a site or anything, and I put myself into the main character, Alexis.  Her life experience is different from mine (not just in terms of her relationship with *NSYNC, but with her whole ex-boyfriend thing.  Although he is based on someone I know...as are most people in the story), but personality-wise, she's me.  Completely.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:
I highly doubt it.  It's just not something I want to do, or ever even thought about doing.  And I find inspiration in the weirdest things - like *NSYNC.  Somehow, I don't think fan fiction would be at the top of the bestseller lists.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?:
It would all really depend on who it was and what they said.  If they didn't like it, then I probably wouldn't tell them.  But if I liked them and they had good things to say, then I might tell them.  I dunno though.  Only my closest friends know I write.  I kinda like being anonymous.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?:
Umm...I really like Adrienne in the one I'm working on right now, "Let Me Be The One".  I like Claudia too, so I guess either one of them.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:
I'm gonna have to go with what someone else said and say Lauren in "It's Only Me" and all of those stories.   What she has with Justin - I can only hope that I'll be lucky enough to have something like that someday.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?:
I would want Kyle as my best friend (from "Let Me Be The One").  He's the kind of friend I've always wanted, but never had.  Not that I don't have friends - that came out wrong.   You know what I mean.  I hope.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
I highly doubt it.  If they asked me directly, then I wouldn't lie to them, but it's not something I would advertise.  I'd be afraid of creeping them out lol.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:  The Christmas that Almost Wasn't ... Perfect because it's the cleanest, heh.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: *NSYNC ballads/Christmas songs playing in my headphones, while the computer/laptop screen remains the only light in the room.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: Together Again, because I was lost for characters and ended up sort of modeling Bridget after myself

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Yeah, because it's something I enjoy and don't get sick of easily, and I'm constantly thinking up new ideas

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: play along as an anonymous writer =0) writing *NSYNC fan fictions is something only two of my friends know about, and I'd like to keep it that way

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Innocence because I'd like to watch Justin abuse Chris - and that sounds so cruel, but honestly, I would.
Plus, I could turn into SuperGirl or something and save our li'l Kirkpatrick.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Becca from AmyK's Three of Hearts ... God, I love that story! heh

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Bridget from Together Again because we're so much alike in some ways, that I would just love to have her around

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
I would tell them that I wrote fan fiction, but I wouldn't give them the link unless they asked for it. I wouldn't try to force it upon them ...

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: Well thankfully I don't have any siblings so I don't have to worry about censoring any language with younger family members, but I would say "Strange Relationship". I'm sure that anyone who reads the story can feel as if they're witness to what is going on, and for someone who's been at the end of a relationship they can feel the same things going on.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings: Inspiration for my stories can come from anywhere. I'd prefer to be writing sometime either late afternoon or late at night, with the tv on in the background or with some music to motivate me. I might have a bottle of water with me, or maybe some soda, I'm not really picky about that. When I do get an idea, it's either written down in a spiral notebook with whatever pen is the most comfortable to write with, or I am sitting in front of my big hunky computer typing it out into an AOL email that I send to myself and keep in my "send later" box. I haven't quite gotten into a specific routine yet, where I sit down at a certain time of the day, every day.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: I don't think there is one specific story. Each one has an element of romance in it, and I am a very romantic person. I'm in love with the idea of love, but when it actually comes to being in love, I don't know the first thing about it.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: I'm not sure, it would be fun but I have to find my voice first. I have a problem with writing long stories so right now I'm just sticking to short stories but I'd like to get to the point of writing a long story. It would also be difficult writing to a deadline, because I believe in whatever happens, happens. I don't want to restrict myself to the cubicle feeling of a 9-to-5 job and I feel that if I did write professionally that could take quite a bit away from my writing. But I don't know if that could change in the next year or so.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: I would admit it, but that scenario wouldn't happen, because some of my friends have read my stories. They know I've written fanfic and I'm not the type to hide something like that. It's a part of me.

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: I haven't written that one story yet. I'm still looking for it and when I do, I'll let you know.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Easy... Fiction Lyn's "Sometimes I Wish", Miranda Hill. She's a well-respected writer who loves to eat fruit cups, can read people in ways they'd never imagine and is in love with JC.. what more can I say?

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: I'm still looking for that character.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: Sure, of course I'd feel a bit nervous about it because it's a part of me going out there each time and I don't know if I've accurately depicted that person, but at the same time I would want to know where I could improve my stories and my writing.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

Hi, my name is Jamie and I'm a poet-songwriting-fanfic junkie. Take me as I am and accept me as is; don't try to change it, and I won't try to change you.

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: My entire "Now And Then" series.  My mom already knows that I write this stuff, so it wouldn't be that shocking to her... besides, she's given me lots of ideas and I've used lots of events that have really happened between the two of us.

You're sitting down to write. describe your setting/surroundings: A lavender bedroom in my apartment.  A stereo is on, usually playing 98 Degrees or Christmas music.  I'm surrounded by pictures of celebrities, as well as pictures of my friends and I.  I usually have a huge bowl of popcorn and something to drink, as well as wearing the most comfortable clothing I can, usually pajamas.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?: Probably my series.  I use so many events from my real life in those stories, I just change the people it happened to.  There is also so much of myself in Kelly, and everything that I want to be one day or am already is her.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: Hell no.  Writing is a stress reliever for me right now, a way to take me from the trials of work and school and let me escape for a few hours.  I love writing, but if I had to have my paycheck depend on it, then it wouldn't be fun to me anymore, and that just isn't cool.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: It would depend on how well I know them.  If I am really good friends with them, I'd probably fess up.  If they were just an acquantance, then I'd probably be the anonymous writer, at least until I was able to feel them out and see how they'd react to it being ME.

A genie shows up one morning. he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Monica from "Almost Doesn't Count" and "Why Can't We Be Friends?".  Not necessarily because she has a very active sex life, but because by 22, she already has EVERYTHING I could ever want in life.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: Sara from Amy's "Crazy" trilogy.  Yes, she struggles with depression and suicidal feelings and attempts, but in reality, she is such a strong woman, someone I totally look up to and respect even though she's fictional.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Briley from my series.  I think I would be able to get along well with her.  She's enough like me to make the friendship smooth, but different enough so that it isn't boring.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP. whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: Never.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?: Oh god... my very, very, very first NSYNC story that I ever wrote. This was way back in 98. It's so teeny and it doesnt have anything bad in it.

You're sitting down to write. describe your setting/surroundings: At the Computer: Headphones on, music playing, surfing the web, talking to people on aim, blocking out everything else.   In my room: Music playing, laying on my pillows with my comforter and hoping that no one disturbs me. When I'm writing I don't like the rents to bother me.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with your real life?: Haha, well all of my stories have me in them... but I have thisstory and I've revised it like 5 billion times, because I didn't like it, so I'd say that one. Yeah, definatly that one.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?: If I could do it on my own time. I don't like having deadlines when writing. It could be too much pressure.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?: Play along as anonymous-- just so there's no preconcieved ideas and everything. And so they wont be afraid to tell me if it sucks.

A genie shows up one morning. he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?: Well there's the one story I've revised a million times, and then there's the Real World Detroit. I don't know though because in the RW I like lose my whole family, but in the other story I almost die...   Hmmm...  the other story (not RW)

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?: As one of the main characters? FictionLyn's Miranda I swear is almost my exact twin, but I think I would want to be Jessica from The JC/Kyle series. Dayna is a cool chick man, lol her to. Or even a fly on the wall during a Joshtin story ;) Oh my gosh, I can't believe I forgot about my friend who introduced me to GOOD fan fic. Her name is      and back in 97 and 98 she was writing the best stuff out there. Well there's this girl called Mike... haha you'd have to read it, but I think all of us have a little Mike spike in us.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?: Ooo... Well... that's kinda hard to answer. I don't HAVE made up people in my stories. There's that line of fiction and reality and I like stepping on it, so I don't use made up people that much. Oh! Nevermind, there is one made up character and he's a little boy named Justice. I would want him to be real because that's supposed to be my son and everything. Plus the vision I have of him is so cute.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP. whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?: After the embarassement of saying something stupid, and after spilling my heart out about how they saved my life, yes, I would tell them because writing is a big part of who I am. Since I don't have a link, I'd have to give them my addy.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

If you had to choose one story of yours to let your parents/siblings read, which would it be? Why?:
As of right now, possibly But, In Reality it's nowhere near done and I don't like any of my family reading my stuff *shrugs*. Just me I guess. It's got the whole "Art imitates Life" thang going in it. Movie within their reality. It's different and I feel, my most creative.

You're sitting down to write… describe your setting/surroundings:
Usually, if at work, at my desk is where I usually burst with something to write. Or late at night, at my computer, music ALWAYS on for a mood. Water or some sort of caffinee around and my cigerettes (I know terrible habit but...it's the only one I really have). I try to type everthing, though I have notebooks filled with scribble, I still try to be around a computer or typewriter of sorts. It goes quicker and less mistakes.

Which story of yours is the most autobiographical or has the most in common with yoour real life?:
My first one Love Ridden was written right out of me and my surroundings. My job at the time was what the lead character, Perri, did (in New York) and she goes through the loss of her grandfather, which was very true to me. As well as the rest of her family being the way they are, is me and even where she lives in NJ, that was my house.  Her friends and co workers, all based on mine, just names changed for their sake. lol. But, in every story there's pieces of me and my experiences in each paragraph or chapter.

Do you think you could be a novelist/short story writer as a profession? Why or why not?:
Sometimes I wonder that.  Yes, I do believe I could. Would I be successful, I have no clue.  But, I would love to sit and write a book. I think a fictional autobio would be hysterical if I could just sit and concentrate on it. LOL.  I get bored easily so, that would be tough.

You receive a feedback email from someone you know in real life, only they don't know you write - do you play along as an anonymous writer, or do you fess up to who you are?:
I just answer their questions, or comments, maybe that's playing alone *shrugs*. I really don't have to worry about it b/c none of my friends from home like Nsync. LOL. They wouldn't be up late at night reading the fanfic. I do have friends from MBs and such that read my stories, but they know it's me so...

A genie shows up one morning… he's there to put you into one of your stories. Which story would it be and who would you be?:
Possibly, Lori Penn in But, In Reality. She's the lead, and she's an actress. She meets JC through a movie that he has agreed to make (far fetched but what do you want, it's fiction. lol). Even though, yes I do want to be in the movie business, I wanted for years to be a director and screenwriter, but that's all close enough. Then again, it's a toss up between that and Ronnie in Blessed. Grew up in London and Bali, leaves to go to NYC for school in photography (another one of my hobbies) and manages to steal JC's heart. ha ha. who could ask for more. That and the fabulous accent. *sigh* oh the dreams.
I also wrote a short on a Message Board and I recently really wished I could be this girl. No true name to her yet, but...it started as a short and is slowly growing to something more. Titled In Other's Words.

Same genie shows up, but this time you can only be in someone elses story. Which story would you choose and who would you be?:
Gah! That's a tough one. MAYBE, as of right now, Miranda Hill in FictionLyn's stories. Most definatly Sometimes I Wish. There's a few others, but I can't name them all...or remember them exactly. LOL.

If one of your original characters could be "real" and in your life exactly as they are in the story, who would it be, and from which story?:
Yet another difficult question...Of course the obvious is knowing the boys themselves, but I'm not going to go that route.  From Blessed, the whole "Bali Crew" as well as Casey and Chris, JC's best friends from home when he was younger. Or in Love Ridden, Lauren, the "British Bitch" or "English Bitch" as she's referred to a lot in the story. Though she was based on a real friend/co worker I knew at the time, I think I would love to have her around as a perminant staple in my life.

If you had the chance to meet the stars of your stories (Nsync, Buffy, HP… whatever) and had the time, would you mention that you wrote fanfic about them? If yes, would you give them the link?:
If I could actually talk, lol, probably not. I'm very private about my things. Writing is one of them. I've had stories among stories written that no one has seen yet, and I just might keep it that way. For me to be hosted on my friends' pages, it's a huge step. That's something that would come along with knowing someone for a while and gaining trust from that person. *shrugs* I'm very gaurded with certain things.

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

You're at a 12 step meeting. It's your turn, so you stand up and say:

Hi, my name is _____ and I'm a _______.
